I was rummaging around some old files and got a late Christmas present!
Victoria is a rescue. For years I thought she was half squirrel, half cat. Any strange sound and she would suddenly fly around the house then hide somewhere for days. We couldn't touch her, never mind pick her up. Then I thought her mother and father were sister and brother. Maybe somebody dropped her on her head. Or, she is just weird. Finally, we decided that she's simply special. And awesome.
Nine years later, it is obvious that she was abused. And it's taken all nine of those years for her to get better. And she's getting better every day. And, best of all, she sure makes a purrty centerpiece!
